The outdoor season gets underway Friday for the Mountain Home High School track teams. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be in Fayetteville for the Y-Timing Running Festival.
Mountain Home’s boys are the defending Class 5A state outdoor champions, and they also won the state indoor meet a few weeks ago on the campus of the University of Arkansas. Bombers’ head coach Noah Chagnon says he expects the boys to contend for the title again this year.

The Mountain Home girls are coming of a season in which they finished 17th in the state. Chagnon says he expects the Lady Bombers to do good things this year, even though they may not have as many team members as the boys.
