MHHS girls’ soccer team records 3 shutouts to win First Community Bank Invitational

The Mountain Home High School girls’ soccer team had a successful weekend at Southside Batesville. The Lady Bombers were crowned the champions of the First Community Bank Invitational after three shutout wins.

Mountain Home began the day by blanking the host Lady Southerners 8-0. The Lady Bombers later topped Morrilton 6-0, and in the championship match, they beat Batesville 3-0.

Kelsey Blackwell led Mountain Home on the day as she scored a total of seven goals and dished out one assist. Bella Dotson had four goals, Jocelyn Hill and Caylee Simmons recorded two goals each, Kendra Medley finished with a goal and three assists, Ever Watson added a goal, and Abi Dettlebach ended up with an assist.

The Lady Bombers improve to 4-0 on the season.
