
High school baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will have its first road trip of the season as they compete in a varsity doubleheader with Gravette. The first game begins at 5.
Elsewhere on the baseball schedule, Cotter travels to Brockwell to meet Izard County, Norfork makes the trip to Concord, Flippin heads to Jasper, Viola hosts Mammoth Spring, Salem travels to Pleasant Plains to face Midland, Lead Hill makes the trip to Shirley, and Valley Springs takes on Lamar at West Fork.
Mountain Home’s softball team will be on the home field for its 5A-West opener. The Lady Bombers will welcome Harrison to McClain Park. The varsity game at Freedom Field begins at 5 followed by the junior varsity contest.
In other softball, Cotter entertains Valley Springs, Flippin heads to Jasper, Yellville-Summit travels to Berryville, Viola makes the trip to Strawberry to play Hillcrest, Izard County is home against Melbourne, Mammoth Spring hosts Highland, Marshall heads to Mountain View, and Lead Hill travels to Shirley.
