Arkansas to face South Carolina in SEC Tournament opener

The Arkansas Razorback basketball team is in Nashville, Tenn., as they’ll compete in the opening game of the SEC Tournament. The Hogs’ first round matchup will be with South Carolina.

Arkansas enters the postseason with a record of 19-12. The Razorbacks finished the regular season in a four-way tie for ninth place in the SEC and won the tiebreaker for the No. 9 seed. Arkansas is coming off a one-point victory over Mississippi State.

South Carolina is currently 12-19 on the season and ended up in last place in the SEC. The Gamecocks suffered a 10-point loss to Tennessee on Saturday.

Tip-off at Bridgestone Arena is scheduled for noon. Wednesday’s game can be seen on the SEC Network.
