Friday’s schedule includes the Mountain Home High School softball team’s first road test of the conference slate. The Lady Bombers will be in the Arkansas River Valley for an outing with Russellville. The varsity game begins at 5 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere on the softball schedule, Cotter travels to Green Forest, Flippin makes the trip to Cave City, Calico Rock heads to Pleasant Plains to face Midland, Melbourne travels to Tuckerman, Lead Hill hosts Omaha, and Harrison entertains Greenwood.
Harrison’s baseball team will have a couple more games in the Prairie Grove Jamboree. The Goblins will meet Lonoke and Ozark.
In other high school baseball, Cotter is home against Yellville-Summit, Flippin makes the trip to Cave City, Viola heads to Greers Ferry to take on West Side, Salem hosts Highland, Lead Hill entertains Omaha, Bergman is home against Alpena, and Ozark Mountain entertains Mountainburg for a doubleheader.
