UCA is set for home court advantage in its first game in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). The Sugar Bears, who had a first round bye, will welcome Abilene Christian to Conway on Monday for the second round.
UCA brings a record of 23-9 into the tournament. The Sugar Bears ended up as the regular season and tournament runners-up in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Abilene Christian is 21-12 on the year. The Wildcats began the WNIT Thursday with a dominating win over Northwestern State.
Tip-off at the Farris Center is scheduled for 6:30. Monday’s game can be streamed on subscription-based ESPN Plus.
