Baseball, softball and soccer make up the local Saturday schedule.
The Cotter High School baseball team will play its finale in the Clinch River Classic in Tennessee. The Warriors will be Sevier County for a 10 a.m. start.
The inaugural Gainesville Baseball Tournament will come to an end. The host Bulldogs meet Ava at 10, Bakersfield faces Thayer at noon, Ava takes on Thayer at 2, and Bakersfield plays Gainesville at 4.
Melbourne’s baseball team will be on the campus of Little Rock Christian Academy for its final game in the Robinson Invitational. The Bearkatz will be paired with Carlisle at 3.
The Ozarks Softball Classic will come to an end at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison. The consolation games will start at 9:30 as Yellville-Summit meets Calico Rock on Ramsey Field, and Marshall faces Valley Springs on Cornerstone Field. Izard County will take on Walnut Ridge in the semifinals at 11:15 on Ramsey Field.
In high school soccer, the Goblin Showcase will come to an end at F.S. Garrison Stadium in Harrison. The Lady Goblins play Bryant at 10, and Harrison’s boys will be matched up with Huntsville at 2:30.
