A fundraiser is coming up for the FFA and FBLA programs at Gainesville High School. The 18th-annual Verne Cubbage Memorial Bass Tournament is scheduled for April 12 at Pontiac Cove Marina on Bull Shoals Lake.
The cost is $100 per two-person team, and the big bass pot is an additional $10. There will be guaranteed cash payouts to the top five teams, and there will also be prizes for the biggest bass and the Young Angler Award. In addition, the tournament will include several giveaways.
