The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a boil water notice for Calico Rock Waterworks customers located from Red Lane to Caldwell Street.
The notice was issued due to a water line break that caused a temporary loss of normal system pressure, which may have allowed contaminated water to enter the distribution system.
Affected customers are advised to boil all water used for drinking or food preparation for at least one minute before use. Ice made from unboiled water should be discarded.
