The Bono Fire Department responded to a call on Sunday, April 6, after a driver became stranded due to high water on State Highway 230.
The department issued a social media post thanking the Valley View Fire Department for its assistance during the rescue operation.
In the post, Bono Fire reminded the public of the dangers of flooded roads, urging motorists, “The flooded roads are serious do not drive through water over these roads! Turn around don’t drown!!”
Motorists are advised to monitor road conditions before traveling.
