St. Louis is currently in third place in the N.L. Central with a record of 5-7. The Cardinals ended up losing the rubber game of their series at Pittsburgh in 13 innings on Wednesday. Philadelphia is tied with the Mets for first place in the N.L. East as both have a mark of 8-4. The Phillies are also coming off a series loss after falling in the rubber game Thursday at Atlanta.
Andre Pallante will get the start for St. Louis, and Philadelphia will go with Aaron Nola. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 7:15. Friday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:20 with Ameren Total Access.
