Lady Bombers dominate Harrison Tuesday night

The Mountain Home Lady Bombers softball teams delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, sweeping a doubleheader on the road against the Harrison Lady Goblins.

In varsity action, Mountain Home rolled to an 18-2 victory behind solid team hitting and a steady outing from pitcher Emma King, who went five innings and allowed just two runs while striking out one.

Offensively, Karleigh Drewry contributed three RBIs despite going hitless, while Daelyn Harper added two hits and three RBIs. Libby Dewey led the way at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Maddie Simmons chipped in with two hits and an RBI, and both Bella Conyers and Kailyn Pope added RBIs of their own.

The JV squad followed up with an 8-2 win, rounding out a dominant night for the Lady Bombers program.

Mountain Home’s varsity team improves to 9-6 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The JV team moves to 4-5 on the season.
