The federal government denied the State of Arkansas’s request for funding through FEMA for assistance to recover from severe storms and tornadoes of March 14th.
Governor Sanders is working with the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management. Local, state, and federal damage assessments for the storms are in progress to appeal the denial.
