
With just under two weeks left, the current month has entered the top five in the category for wettest Aprils. With the precipitation measured Saturday and Sunday morning, 2025 has currently become the fourth wettest April on record.
At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, .57 of an inch of rain were recorded at 7 Saturday morning, and an additional .72 of an inch were measured 24 hours later. That moves this month’s total at 11.48 inches, passing the 10 3/4 inches measured in 1957. The wettest month in recorded history was 16.87 inches in April 1927.
April 2025 is .39 of an inch away from entering the top 10 for the wettest months overall. May 1946 is currently 10th at 11.87 inches.
