Marion County man arrested on child pornography charges

A Marion County man has been arrested on child pornography charges. Twenty-nine-year-old Johnnie Wayne Heinen of Yellville is facing one count of computer exploitation of a child, a Class Y felony, and eight counts of computer child pornography, also felonies. A Class Y felony is the most serious crime in Arkansas not punishable by the death penalty.

The files in the case have been ordered sealed by the judge since they do involve a minor.

The Arkansas State Police conducted the investigation.

Heinen is being held in the Marion County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
