Area high school baseball and softball teams saw action Monday evening with strong performances across the board.
Yellville-Summit’s varsity baseball team delivered two dominant wins at Bergman, defeating the home team 25-3 and 16-1. In softball, the Lady Panthers secured a 6-1 win over Viola.
Flippin split results while hosting Cave City. The Bobcats won in softball, 22-7, but Cave City earned a 9-3 victory in baseball.
Norfork teams swept Omaha on the road. The Lady Panthers won their softball game 24-7, while the Panthers rolled to a 21-0 shutout in baseball.
