In softball, the Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers were shut out 10-0 by Cave City, while the Viola Lady Longhorns fell on the road to Concord, 11-1. The Salem Lady Greyhounds cruised past Flippin with a dominant 10-0 win.
The Lady Goblins of Harrison struggled at home against a strong Farmington squad, falling in a lopsided 20-0 decision. Meanwhile, Ozark Mountain kept the bats hot with a 26-15 slugfest victory over Omaha.
On the diamond, Harrison’s Goblins came up short against Van Buren’s baseball team, dropping the contest 8-4. Ozark Mountain also claimed a win in baseball, defeating Omaha 17-6 in a high-scoring affair.
Melbourne’s Lady BearKats took care of business at home, powering past Midland 15-5 behind solid hitting and aggressive baserunning.
