As North Arkansas College (Northark) continues exploring a potential affiliation with the University of Arkansas System, a Community Town Hall has been scheduled for Thursday from 11 to 1 at the Berryville Community Center Banquet Hall. The event aims to provide the public with transparency and gather input on this significant decision.
An affiliation with the University of Arkansas System would allow graduating students from Northark to attend college at Fayetteville while still paying Northark tuition, which could save them thousands of dollars.
During the Town Hall, Northark administrators will present an overview of the proposed affiliation, including potential benefits, the impact on students, faculty and the broader community. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their perspectives.
Students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and all members of the community are encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided.
