Cotter, Norfork among baseball, softball teams to conclude district tournaments Saturday

High school baseball and softball are scheduled for Saturday as a few district tournaments will come to an end at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.

After Friday’s postponement, the final four games of the 2A-1 District Baseball Tournament will be held. The semifinals will start at 2 as Cotter faces Mountainburg on Pippin Field, and Ozark Mountain takes on Life Way Christian on Jack Williams Field. At 4:30, the championship game will be played on Jack Williams Field, and the third place game will be held on Pippin Field.

Cotter’s softball team will also be at the Equity Bank Sports Complex as they compete for the title of the 2A-1 District tournament. It will be a battle between Lady Warriors as Cotter plays Life Way Christian at 2.

Norfork’s baseball and softball teams will return to Harrison as both will be paired with Jasper in the championship games of the 1A-1 District Tournament. The first pitch for both games is scheduled for 2.
