
The City of Mountain Home has announced the curbside pick up of recyclable items by Waste Connections, formerly Methvin Sanitation, in the city will end at the end of June. The move comes after the Baxter Day Service Center notified the city and Waste Connections they could no longer accept the curbside recycling.
The mayor says the recycling center is having to stop accepting the items picked up each week by Waste Connections for several reasons.

Mountain Home residents will still be able to take their recyclables to the Baxter Day Service Center on Rossi Road.
This does not affect anyone who has the cardboard trailers from the Baxter Day Service Center.
