MHHS softball team loses makeup game at Farmington

The Mountain Home High School softball team had a rough night on Wednesday as they played a makeup game from Tuesday’s postponement. The Lady Bombers went to Farmington and suffered a 14-6 defeat.

Chloe Bohannon ended up with the loss in the circle as she pitched over four innings and struck out two batters. Emma King came on in relief in the fifth inning and recorded an additional strikeout.

Offensively, King and Daelyn Harper both went 1-for-2 at the plate, Maddie Simmons was 1-for-3 with an RBI, Kailyn Pope finished 1-for-3, Leah Bockstahler and Bella Conyers each went 1-for-4 and drove in two runs, Libby Dewey was also 1-for-4, and Bohannon added an RBI.

Mountain Home falls to 12-9 on the season and 8-5 in the 5A-West.
