Mountain Home High School was well represented in the state weightlifting meet Saturday at Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy. The Bombers finished second in Classes 7A/6A as the title was captured by Benton.
Eli Jones had Mountain Home’s best performance as he finished second among those weighing between 221 and 242 pounds. Jones clean lifted 340 pounds and bench pressed 325 for a total of 665 pounds.
