The ASU-Mountain Home baseball team was able to avoid elimination in the NJCAA Division II Region 2 Tournament at Majestic Park in Hot Springs. Spencer Mounce hit a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to push the TrailBlazers past Southeast Arkansas 8-6. ASU-Mountain Home improves to 33-18 on the season, and they’ll play another elimination game Friday morning at 10 against the host school, National Park. If the TrailBlazers win, they’ll play again at 7 against the winner of the 1:00 game between Murray State and Northern Oklahoma-Enid.
