The ASU-Mountain Home baseball team narrowly avoided elimination Friday in its third game of the NJCAA Division II Region 2 Tournament at Majestic Park in Hot Springs. The game needed 10 innings, and in the extra frame, Keenan Hunter hit an RBI single into right field to push the TrailBlazers past the host school, National Park, by a score of 8-7. ASU-Mountain Home improves to 34-18 on the season, and they’ll play again Friday evening in another elimination game against Northern Oklahoma-Enid.
