The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas and Arvest Bank had what they believe is their most successful Feed the Pack event to date. As of late Friday afternoon, over $46,000 have been raised for childhood hunger initiatives.
Food Bank Chief Executive Officer Jeff Quick says while he was pleased with the donations received, he’s hoping for more this weekend.

Quick says the work the volunteers put in for Feed the Pack is crucial considering there are anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 children in Baxter and Marion counties at risk of not knowing where their next meal will come from.
