Monday schedule includes Gainesville hosting opening day of district softball tournament

Monday’s schedule includes a few area softball teams in postseason action as district play is underway in Missouri.

Gainesville is the site for the Class 1, District 4 Tournament. Bakersfield faces another group of Lady Lions from Mansfield at 2, and the host Lady Bulldogs take on Dora at 4.

Ava will be in Mountain Grove for its semifinal game in the Class 2, District 4 Tournament. The Lady Bears play Houston at 5:30.

In high school baseball, Gainesville travels to Alton, and Dora hosts Winona.
