Transcript:
Under unfinished business Counsel heard the third reading of ordinance number 2025-04, an ordinance to adopt the state plumbing code and repealing ordinances or parts thereof that conflict. That ordinance was approved unanimously. Counsel then went on, heard the second reading of Ordinance number 2025-05, to establish procedures in the Gassville Cemetery and fixing pricing of lots and spaces that was heard on its second reading.
Counsel then under new business considered the purchase of a pumper truck for the fire department. Counsel approved unanimously to waive competitive bidding and appropriated $140,000 for the purchase of a 2006 HME Rescue Pumper. We will be working on the contract with that hopefully here within the next 30 days or so.
Counsel then went on and approved a resolution to establish policy for return city checks and deposit refunds or any other payments made by the city that was approved unanimously. I updated counsel on a couple items regarding our Gassville in the Park. I appreciate it. Thank you.
