MH Salvation Army Board earns rare national honor for excellence

The Salvation Army Advisory Board in Mountain Home recently received a rare national award highlighting the commitment the group has to serving those in need throughout the Twin Lakes area.

The Certificate of Excellence was given in a presentation by the National Commander of The Salvation Army and the Territorial Commander of the Southern Territory. Mountain Home has become only the 11th board in the country, and the first in the Arkansas-Oklahoma Division, to receive the award.

Longest serving board member Tommy Hagan says the award speaks to the hardworking team that works year round to help their neighbors in need.
