LITTLE ROCK, Ark. The NCAA announced Monday that the Trojan baseball team has been selected to the Baton Rouge Regional. The Trojans are the No. 4 seed and will play LSU, the No. 1 seed Friday at 2 pm.
“We are excited to be playing in the Baton Rouge Regional,” Little Rock head coach Chis Curry said. “We made a great run through the OVC Tournament and are playing very well right now. This is a great opportunity for our team and the University. I am happy for everyone involved, and now we need to get ready to play against some outstanding competition.”
Little Rock is making its first NCAA Regional appearance in 14 seasons. The Trojans (24-32) won five games in four days to take the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title and the automatic bid.
