A Mountain Home woman has been arrested for sex crimes involving a minor. Thirty-five-year-old Ashley Ann Normandy was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center at 8:00 Tuesday morning and released just over one hour later after posting $50,000 bond.
Normandy is charged with sexual indecency with a child and fourth degree sexual assault, both felonies. The warrant, which was issued May 19, indicates the crime occurred Dec. 1 last year.
The judge has ordered the files to be sealed, so no details about the case can be released.
Normandy has no other arrest records in Arkansas. A no contact order was filed against her in April, but the files in that case are not available.
Online court records show she has an alias of Ashley Bittenbender.
