The Mountain Home Bomber Basketball program has announced the hiring of Cody Matheny to lead its Junior High Program.The move comes after Brad Morris moved down to the 7th grade staff and Calvin Henry moved up to assist high school head coach Josh Fulcher after leading the junior high program.
Matheny’s career has included stops at Cave City, Batesville, and The New School in Fayetteville.
Matheny states that a big thing that really sold him on coming here was that the beliefs of the program, set by Josh Fulcher over 12 years ago, of working hard and giving back to the community align with what he believes in as well.
When Coach Matheny was the head coach of the Batesville Pioneers, his first regular season game was in The Hangar against the Bombers, and since then he has loved the environment the school and community provides.
