Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery was a recent guest on the Morning Show on KTLO FM 97.9 and during an interview, he discussed his views on and the response the Sheriff’s Office had for the recent escape of convicted murderer Grant Hardin from the Calico Rock prison.
Sheriff Montgomery says this type of situation is not a common occurrence in the area.

When asked how he thought the inmate got out, the Sheriff said he believes it was a mixture of mistakes the guards made and years of planning from Hardin.
