Mayor Adams addresses the crowd at the remodeled courts
The remodeled tennis courts at Cooper Park in Mountain Home officially opened Tuesday with over 60 students, golf professionals and city staff in attendance.
Mayor Hillary Adams spoke before the ribbon cutting which was quickly followed with rounds of tennis. Tennis pros were on site to help the students in attendance to improve their games on the freshened courts.
Recreation Sports and Activity Manager, Sayre Whiteley, thanked the community for the show of support, “We are excited to be able to utilize these courts for future programs as well as the benefit to Mountain Home’s tennis community.”
