
Mountain Home American Legion Lockeroom picked up a pair of wins Friday at the College of the Ozarks baseball tournament, topping Hollister 11-3 and SEMO 7-1. The end of day two brought the Lockeroom record to 11-1 on the season.In the opener, Finley Chafin drove in six runs on three hits to power Lockeroom past Hollister.
Owen Hyslip earned the win, allowing three runs on eight hits over 4 1/3 innings.
In the second game, a five-run sixth inning lifted Lockeroom to a 7-1 win over SEMO. Xander McCandlis drove in three with a single, while Rhett King and Ethan Light each added an RBI.
Nate Henderson picked up the win in relief, giving up one run over four innings. Jordan Corbett started and tossed two scoreless frames with two strikeouts.
Lockeroom has entered the championship round for Saturday and will play Bartlesville at 4 with a final game schedule for 6.
