The Mountain Home Public Schools (MHPS) Board of Education and members of the Baxter County Quorum Court will attend a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) training session for public officials Monday evening at 5:30 in the second floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse.
MHPS District Superintendent Allyson Dewey says “Our Board has publicly committed to staying informed of current laws and guidelines, and this training is a great opportunity to learn more. The Arkansas FOIA is expansive, and I anticipate that we will all take something positive away from this session.”
The meeting is strictly for training and neither body will conduct any business during the hour-long session.
