
On Tuesday the Arkansas Activities Association announced that the Salem Greyhounds received two special honors. They were named academic state champions in girls cross country and girls golf.
Salem Director of Athletics J.W. Blevins says this accomplishment is a testament to the teachers and students at Salem High School.
