The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball traveled east for the 66th Glen Winget Memorial Tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In the first game of the tournament Lester White’s boys defeated Hillcrest with a final score of 4 to 1.
Jordan Corbett began the game for Mountain Home Lockeroom. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking four. Finley Chafin, Jackson Corp, Nate Henderson, Lincoln Sherry, Xander McCandlis, and Cash Arnhart each collected one hit. Corbett and Sherry each drove in one run.
They will take on Fort Smith with first pitch set for 5:45 this evening. The tournament will conclude tomorrow with Lockeroom facing Burkburnett, Texas at 12:15.
