Federal and local authorities are searching for 31-year-old Brandon Lakeith Jenkins, who is wanted in connection with the shooting of three people during a home invasion robbery in Texarkana on Aug. 29, 2023.
Jenkins, also known as “Blackend Jenks,” is described as a Black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 153 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was born Sept. 9, 1993, in Texas and has ties to Texarkana, Texas; Texarkana, Arkansas; and Hope, Arkansas.
The FBI’s Little Rock Field Office is assisting the Texarkana, Texas Police Department in the search. Investigators believe Jenkins fled across state lines into Arkansas to avoid capture. On Sept. 11, 2023, the Bowie County Magistrate charged him with engaging in organized criminal activity – aggravated assault, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
Authorities say Jenkins should be considered armed and dangerous and an escape risk. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
