
The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is joining a federal program that will allow certain deputies to help enforce immigration laws.
KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Baxter County Sheriff, John Montgomery who explains the reason behind joining the program.

The BCSO has enrolled 15 staff members in the program so far, with the possibility of expanding participation after initial training is complete. Montgomery says the office expects to begin using the program in the next few weeks.
