ASUMH welcomes students back to campus Monday

College students are making their way back to class Monday as Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH)kicks off the 2025 fall semester. The past week was busy on the campus with Welcome Week and ‘Late Night at ASUMH’ Wednesday night which offered students the opportunity to finalize registration, learn about resources, get help with financial aid, meet faculty and staff and ask any questions they might have about starting classes.

ASUMH Chancellor Dr. Bentley Wallace describes the excitement of beginning a new school year at the campus.

Dr. Wallace says that even though the first week of school has begun, it’s not too late to enroll in fall classes.

A new Activities Director has helped to increase the number of chances to interact with fellow students and members of the community both on and off campus, and with athletics like baseball, e-sports and a bass fishing team the Chancellor encourages people to come and look at all that is offered.

The upcoming Performing Arts Series that will begin that will begin Sept. 13 and tickets are available for purchase.
