The Mountain Home Bomber tennis teams made quick work of Springdale in a 9-2 victory and the Lady Bombers flew past the Lady Bulldogs 6-3.
Springdales lone singles win over Mountain Homes boys was a 6-8 defeat of Landon Horne. Strat Rucker was victorious 8-3, Chander Jones won 8-4, Nathan Mooney defeated his opponent 8-4, Max Goodwin secured a victory 8-5, Ben Souder came away with the W 8-2, Anthony Jones prevailed in his match 8-2, and Riley Edwards rounded out the Bomber scorecard with an 8-4 victory. In doubles action Strat Rucker/Ben Souder won 8-4, and Max Goodwin/Nathan Mooney secured a doubles win 9-7, while Anthony Jones/Riley Edwards were defeated 1-8.
On the ladies side Mountain Homes Kiana Talbot was a no decision in her match, Mary Charles McConnell won 8-3, Devon Sussman swept her opponent 8-0, Sienna Reed won 8-3, Jentry Souder needed extra points to win 9-7, Addison Decker won 8-1, and the lone wins in singles for Springdale were over Kynlee Reed 6-8, and Hadley Goodwin 4-8. The Lady Bombers went 3-1 in doubles action with Kiana Talbot/Devon Sussman sweeping their match 8-0, Sienna Reed/Jentry Souder won 8-4, Mary Charles McConnell/Addison Decker flew past their matchup 6-0 and Springdale got their lone doubles win over Mountain Home when they faced Hadley Goodwin/Kynlee Reed 3-8.
Mountain Home will take aim at their next opponent Little Rock Catholic on August 26th.
