Arkansas State Police have identified the woman killed in a weekend hit-and-run north of Eureka Springs.
Troopers say Penny Bowling, 61 of Holiday Island, was struck and killed early Saturday morning on Highway 187 near Nightingale Road. Officers were called to the scene around 2:45 a.m., and the Carroll County coroner pronounced Bowling dead about 3:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a newer model white Chevrolet pickup truck. They are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver.
