Mountain Home High School athletes are set for a packed week of competition, capped Friday by the biggest football rivalry of the year.

The action begins Tuesday with tennis against Marion at 3:30, followed by a full evening of volleyball as Greene County Tech visits the Bomber gym at 4 in the afternoon. Games include 7th, 8th, 9th grade, junior varsity and varsity teams.

Thursday features an 18-hole home golf match against Greene County Tech and Melbourne at 2:30. Lady Bombers volleyball hosts West Memphis at 4:30, while junior football teams split action with the 7th grade squad traveling to Yellville at 5:30 and the 9th grade Bombers hosting Farmington at 6.

On Friday night, Bomber Stadium will be the place to be as Mountain Home faces longtime rival Harrison at 7. Fans are encouraged to pack the stands for what’s expected to be a high energy game. The evening will also honor military members and first responders.

The week wraps up Saturday as Bomber volleyball travels to North Little Rock for tournament play featuring 8th and 9th grade teams.
