
The Mountain Home Bomber golf clubs finished off the regular season Wednesday. Mountain Home competed in a tri-match against the Harrison Goblins and Greenwood Bulldogs at Harrison Country Club. The Bomber boys ended the match finishing in 2nd place at 308, only 8 strokes behind the winning Goblins and 31 strokes ahead of Greenwood. The Bombers were led by Cody Cormican and Jake Brashears, who both scored a 75, finished tied for 2nd place. Braxton Blagg came home in 7th overall with a 78, Jack Coleman brought home an 80, and Teagan Booy rounded out the varsity scorecard with an 89. Mountain Home sent 2 additional golfers but their scores did not count toward the team total. Bailor Tate finished his round at 85 and Cameron Stone wrote down a 90 on his scorecard.
On the girls side for Mountain Home the Lady Bombers came in last with a 279. Greenwood would win the match with a 253 and Harrison came home in the silver medal position at 271. Mountain Home’s Abby Edens finished 2nd overall at 86, Anna Torres finished 4 strokes behind Edens at 86. And Molly Wright rounded out the scorecard with a 103.
The Bomber Golf Teams will be off until September 23rd when they compete in the 5A-west conference tournament at Eagle Creek Country Club in Alma.
