
The Arkansas State Police are searching for two suspects who fled on foot after a high-speed vehicle pursuit early Wednesday along Interstate 40 near Hazen.
Troopers attempted to stop a black Hyundai Palisade around 8:45 that morning for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Brevin Tre Harvey, 24, of Saltillo, Mississippi, fled at speeds approaching 100 mph while making reckless lane changes. A rear passenger, Marice Quencha Sykes, 30, of Tupelo, Mississippi, also ran into a wooded area. Both remain at large.
A third passenger, Kyle Anthony Easley, 33, of Shannon, Mississippi, was arrested and taken to the Prairie County Detention Center. Troopers recovered a handgun discarded by one of the suspects and 58 pounds of illegal marijuana from the vehicle.
State and local law enforcement are assisting in the search. Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts is urged to call ASP Troop D at 870-970-6071 or 911.
