The Mountain Home Lady Bombers took the court at 3M Transit Arena in Marion for their biggest and toughest test of the year on Monday. Mountain Home, winners of their last 4 in the 5a-east, looked to knock off the Marion Patriots who were undefeated in league play and all alone at the top of the east. Mountain Home would struggle in set 1 losing the set 25-12. The second set was much of the same and saw the Lady Bombers drop the set 25-11. Mountain Home would get out to an 8-4 lead in the 3rd set, but Marion would punch them in the mouth and throw a 8-1 run at the Lady Bombers until eventually winning the final set 25-15 and the match 3-0.
Mountain Home saw great success winning the 7th grade match 2-0. The Lady Bombers were also victorious in the 8th and 9th grade matches sweeping the Patriots 2-0.
Mountain Home will be back in action on Tuesday as they will head to Raider Arena to take on Nettleton.
