The 44th annual Health Fair and Expo returns Wednesday to The Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) from 9 to 4. Presented by Baxter Health and KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot the expo is free to attend and brings together over 75 health professionals, wellness vendors, and community members together for a day of learning and health screenings all under one roof.
Tobias Pugsley, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Baxter Health, tells KTLO News a centralized approach to health screenings this year will streamline the experience for visitors.

A new initiative this year will feature live interviews with local healthcare providers held on the Farmer’s and Merchants Bank Stage at the center of the health fair with the opportunity for attendees to later meet and ask the doctors questions.

The provider interviews will be broadcast live throughout the day on KTLO FM 97.9 and will be available for viewing following the event on Baxter Health’s website as well as on Youtube at KTLOStreaming.
The annual event gives visitors to tour booths from many local providers with plenty of complimentary items and drawings to sign up for. Pugsley invites all in the surrounding community to stop by, learn about all the service available and enjoy the day.

Free shuttles services from the parking lots will be available from Ultimate Auto Group for those visiting. The Sheid is located on the ASUMH Campus at the west end of Mountain Home.
