Silver Dollar City will mark America’s 250th birthday by offering free season passes to all active-duty U.S. military, thanks to a partnership with Arvest Bank.
Brad Thomas, president of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts, said the initiative reflects the park’s tradition of honoring faith, family and freedom. There’s no better way to celebrate America’s 250th than by welcoming our nation’s heroes to a season of celebration,” Thomas said.
Arvest Bank, which has partnered with the park since 2021, expanded its sponsorship to include Hero Appreciation Days and the 2026 military season pass program. Jason England, president of Arvest Bank’s Springfield region, said the effort is a way to thank service members for their dedication and sacrifices.
The 2026 season will feature patriotic tributes, evening fireworks and drone shows, special menus with star-spangled twists, and a Coca-Cola flavor created exclusively for Silver Dollar City. A kickoff concert is planned for May 9 at Echo Hollow, featuring The Presleys, The Petersons, Clay Cooper and his Band, The Haygoods, and Mike Patrick of Grand Country Music Hall.
