Bob Nault has officially announced his candidacy for re-election as Justice of the Peace for Baxter County Quorum Court District 7.
A resident of Baxter County for more than 40 years, Nault has served on the Quorum Court with a focus on fiscal responsibility, community safety, and protecting the county’s conservative values. Throughout his career, he has been active in several local organizations, including the Rotary Club and other civic and community groups that strengthen the area he calls home.

During his time on the Quorum Court, Nault has served on multiple committees and worked alongside other members to improve county operations and maintain transparency in decision-making. Nault was asked about the feedback he has received from his constituents, specifically about not being afraid to vote against the majority.

Having called Baxter County home for over four decades, Nault said his long-term investment in the community continues to guide his work. He emphasized that maintaining public trust through accountability and collaboration remains his top priority.
“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, but there’s still work to do,” he said. “I’ll continue working with our county team to keep taxes low, support law enforcement, and make sure Baxter County remains a safe and thriving place to live.”
Nault says if voters give him another term, he’ll stick with the same approach he’s always taken.

Nault said he looks forward to visiting with voters across District 7 in the coming months and hearing their thoughts and concerns as the campaign continues.
