Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced a new pilot program aimed at helping people in need by partnering with faith and community organizations. The initiative, called 10:33, takes its name from Luke 10:33, where a good Samaritan aids a traveler in need.

The program will start in Pulaski, Union, and Pope counties, using the existing Restore Hope initiative and the HopeHub platform to connect individuals with resources, case managers, and employment opportunities through Arkansas LAUNCH. Sanders emphasized the goal is to move people from “crisis to career,” not simply provide temporary assistance.

Pastor Paula White-Cain and Restore Hope’s Paul Chapman joined the governor at the announcement, highlighting how the program pairs faith-based support with practical resources to help families thrive. Sanders called the initiative “a hand up, not a handout,” designed to strengthen families and transform lives.
